Dance Teams - We will have two teams for the 2010 - 2011 season. 

• The Youth Hip Hop team will practice on Tuesdays from 5:30 to 7:00pm beginning Tuesday, September 7th.
• The Junior/Senior dance team will practice on Thursdays from 7:00 to 8:30pm beginning Thursday, September 9th.

We've also added dance classes in both Dance Techniques as well as a "for-fun" Hip Hop class.  Please see the schedule for times.

Results from Elite International Champions, EC Athletics WINS LEVEL 4 Senior Co-Ed!

Friday, May 14th via live Webcast the Overall Champions of the Elite International Championships were announced.  EC Athletics Black Rain won the Level 4 Senior Co-Ed division.  A panel of judges scored teams from across the country via video to crown the Overall Elite International Champions.  We could not be more proud of all our teams!

Final results were:

• Level 4, Black Rain - 1st Place, Overall Elite International Champions!
• Level 2, Silver Storm - 3rd Place
• Level 1, Blue Bolts - 10th Place (out of 22 teams)
• Level 1, Tiny Twisters - 4th Place
• Junior Jazz, Lady Lightning - 2nd Place

What a great end to a fantastic season!

EC Athletics wrapped up a great season with wonderful performances at the All-Levels Finals!  Congratulations to Silver Storm for winning the Senior Level 2 divison!  Great job, ladies!

We are so proud of how all the teams performed at Cheer America's State Championship on January 23, 2010.  Every team has worked so hard all season and had so many obstacles to overcome.  It's nice to see you all rewarded for your determination, persistence, and effort.  And thank you to our fantastic coaches for getting us to this point!

Black Rain, our Senior Level 4 Co-Ed team overcame two serious injuries to re-arrange pyramids, change stunts, and re-work formations.  And thanks to Kat for filling in on such short notice!  You did great!  This team triumped with both a FIRST PLACE division win and the overall Level 4 GRAND CHAMPION award!

Silver Storm, our Senior Level 2 team delivered a fantastic performance to win FIRST PLACE out of seven teams!  Congrats on a well-deserved victory.

Lady Lightning, our Junior Jazz team continues to amaze us with such improvement after such a short time together.  Congratulations on your FIRST PLACE win!

Blue Bolts, our Mini Level 1 team was also truly amazing.  With one of their best performances of the year, they finished 2nd out of eight teams.  And they were only .1 (that small deduction) away from first place and grand champion of Level 1.  WOW!

We are so proud of all of you and thank both the athletes and parents for being part of our program.  ECA ROCKS!

We saw great performances from all our teams at the Elite International Championship held at Fair Park on March 28th!  Teams competed in this regional event and will then be judged and ranked against teams who compete in Chicago, Hartford, and Mobile to vie for the title of overall Elite International Champion.

Black Rain, our Level 4 Senior Co-ed team won first place to become the Regional Elite International Champs.

The Tiny Twisters also placed 1st to become the Elite International Champs in the Tiny Level 1 division.

Winning the Junior Jazz division were our wonderful Lady Lightning dancers.

And with fabulous performances our Senior Level 2 Silver Storm and Mini Level 1 Blue Bolts both placed 2nd.  We are so proud of ALL of our athletes!

The EC Athletics Lady Lightning jazz team created a special memory this week-end when the girls delivered their Salvation Army angel gifts for their angels.  What an outstanding group of young ladies we have the good fortune to coach!

Congratulations and thank you to the ECA Cheerleaders who supported the American Heart Association service project.  Those who walked in the rain at the HeartWalk through downtown Dallas had a fantastic time!  What's a little rain when it's for such a good cause?
